The product is a water-soluble red natural food pigment obtained from the root of red beet (Beta vulgaris L.) by extraction, filtration and refining. The main component is betaine.

Beet red is mainly used in cans, fruit-flavored water, fruit-flavored powder, sherbet, soda, candy, wine preparation, etc. It is also used in medicine, cosmetics and other industries, and is an ideal colorant for cold drinks, dairy products, jams, jellies and so on. Appropriate use according to production needs,The scope and limit of use shall comply with the relevant requirements of the National Food Safety Standard for the Use of Food Additives (gb2760).

Seal, avoid light, -5~0℃ store.

■   Shelf life

Store unopened for 12 months.

■  Matters needing attention

This product is soluble in water, ethanol and other water-soluble solvents, insoluble in acetone, petroleum ether and other non-polar solvents. Color changes with the PH value, red to purple under acid, yellow under alkaline, light resistance, heat resistance in general, avoid light and heating, suitable for acidic environment, not suitable for neutral and alkaline environment.  

This product should not be consumed directly.
